I imagine the young earth people would be surprised that intelligent design of the human DNA means something completely different in 2024 to the idea of a old man in the sky touching clay to create Adam.

People who seem horrified at the very suggestion that humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor, also seem to have no problem at all with the idea that the first man was made from a pile of dirt, and that the first woman was constructed from the first man's rib.

There will always be someone convinced God couldn’t be smarter than himself. There will always be someone convinced God couldn’t be more powerful than himself. There will always be someone convinced God couldn’t be more loving than himself.

Funny how scientists keep assuming that they know “everything” but keep discovering new things they didn’t know every year. Truth is… there is more unknown than known.

Really? The irony is the impressive straw man of scientists you've built and the lack of self-awareness it takes to link to that specific article immediately afterwards.

I was watching a 1950s US television news program on Youtube were the newsreader was talking about evidence for evolution to refute the prevailing christian theological ideologies which were rampant at the time.

He was doing well, until he introduced three people into the studio (an African American, Mexican and a Caucasian) to illustrate how humans evolved from apes. I faceplanted but really shouldn't have been surprised as he proceeded to point out how two of his guests (in front of their faces) were closer to apes "proving" humans evolved over thousands of years.

Americans
