What if you wanted not to edit the file, but to convert the file format extension, say, from MPEG-4 to MP3? That would really help me get my music from Itunes onto my new MP3 player (its a Sansa c240, which is Windows based)
Depends. If your files weren't bought as "iTunes Plus", they have DRM and cannot be converted easily. You will have to burn to CD and rip as an MP3.
You know, I didn't think of that. I have an old rewritable CD i could use (I have all of the songs on my MP3 player already)
EDIT: no good. It said the files could not be burned to CD because they were not MP3 file format. (The files are MPEG-4, like I said above, and this was a CD-RW that I had used for music previously)
