USB 2.0 will be, yes.

USB 1.0 or 1.1 will NOT

Firewire will be equal to USB 2.0

Shouldn't be a problem, I can stream movies from my usb 2.0 hard drive

Its good to know. I pretty much figured it was, but there is always the chance of stutter or other ill effects.

Good. this means i can complete my computer gift project without having to incorporate a dvd into it. It would look very odd.
