Do you believe there is life on other planets? What kind? Will we ever discover it? Will it discover us? Do they know about us already?

Mistake: Ignore the first sentence in the last option.

What if the aliens turned out to be exactly like us Aspie and Auties and we aspies and auties were the only ones who could effectively communicate with them? I guess that's wishful and fantastical thinking on my part.

Sure there are, and they are intelligent enough to stay the hell away from us. We'd just detain and disect them, after all.

Not only do I think that the possible life out there is too far away to be able to actually communicate with, but it also might be too obscure for us to even recognize as life or even intelligent. Like the planet in the novel Solaris. wiki'd

Given the distribution of stars of sufficient age and energy to bring about potentially-intelligent life (that'd be stars of the spectral types F, G, and K; higher spectral types don't last long enough, while M-, N-, and S-class stars don't put out enough energy), it seems unlikely to me that this one planet is the only one in the entire sidereal Universe capable of hosting a native intelligent species.

Mind you, I don't for a moment believe that any of them go to the trouble of traipsing halfway across the Orion Arm for the dubious privilege of abducting some hayseed in the Midwest and conducting repetitive, borderline sexually abusive experiments upon him/her...

Nope. Not an alien spacecraft. Nothing alien was recovered.

The "Roswell Incident" most likely involved a failed Government experimental vehicle using electrostatic lift and thrust. The "Aliens" inside were most likely 1/2 scale human-shaped mannequins.

Yes, intelligent, will never be discovered.

This is because of the vastness of the universe and the limits on velocity. If FTL speed is indeed possible (and there is ZERO reason to think it is possible), then my answer to this poll may change.
