Frozen 2 was good, but they clearly wanted to tell a story that is more complex than the first one, which means that it may be a hard movie for the youngest movie goers. And, with a more complex story, it brings up issues that you may or may not agree with.

I really want to see this! Have heard similar things about the storyline though. I hope kids still enjoy it :)

It's A Wonderful Life. Namely, the final act after George Bailey wishes he was never born.

Recently saw

a) Harriet - pretty good movie, amazing story about an amazing woman, though a bit embellished

b) Ford vs. Ferrari - rather liked it, quite a bit better than I thought it would be

c) Last Christmas - pretty forgettable

^^^^I'm looking forward to seeing that... How was it?

Yesterday(2019 Romantic Comedy)
Synopsis: Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter in an English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie. After a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed. Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, Jack becomes on overnight sensation with a little help from his agent. Starring Himesh Patel, Lily James, Kate McKinnon, Ed Sheeran and James Corden

Really enjoyed this! In fact far more than I thought I would. I'm a huge fan of The Beatles(have them framed on my wall, saw "Let It Be" live onstage in London's West End with Beatles looky & soundy-likies(was very good), etc etc, but wasn't sure how it would go. Had heard it wasn't very uplifting .... wrongly! If you're looking for a feel-good movie, one with some laughs and some good music, this is definitely worth a look.
