Comic books are my favorite. It's just that I don't read it as much. Comic book anthologies are huge. How many writers can be involved in these kind of books?

I don't know. Although my family and I enjoy watching comic book movies, I'm not a comic-book fan.

Sorry.

I'm sorry I didn't know you never read comic books.

I used to collect comics when I was young. Some of the comic books in the 50s and 60s would have 2 or 3 stories per magazine, like self contained short stories. In the 80s there was usually one main story per magazine and story arcs that lasted months or years. Some black and white reprints I have seen are about an inch or a inch and a half thick and can have many many writers. Some anthologies take a popular story arc or about 10 magazines and publish them in one hard cover or soft cover book on bright white paper. For many years comic books were only printed on rough news-print paper that had a slightly yellowish or slightly brown color to the "white" paper. The whites weren't very white. At some point a lot of comic books switched to very white paper like fancy magazines.

Okay. How many of them can be involved in these kind of books or graphic novels?

for a graphic novel I would expect between 1 and 20. I am only guessing. Perhaps more.

I don't really understand the question. Anthologies are a collection of works from different artists.
Or do you mean books like The Walking Dead or Hellblazer, where a number of people are involved?

/Mats
