A Terry Gilliam movie.

What is your opinion?

I enjoyed the visuals as I always do with his movies. The main character was rather sad and built the bars of his own prison so to speak but that was the point.

Spoilers sort of:
I don't know how to hide it sorry.

I definitely liked the message of the movie. there are many times in life when you have an out of a negative situation or someone offers you a hand etc and you don't take it because fear is holding you back. If you'd just dig deep and find the will power or courage and take a chance it can change your circumstances.

I think many of us, especially on here can relate to that. Essentially being paralyzed by indecision or fear and not recognizing a helping hand being offered. Or just being to scared to step outside of our comfort zone to take a chance.

I enjoy Terry gilliam's style. I watched Twelve Monkeys the other day.

Last night we watched:

Infinite [2021]
<=>"Grief. Hallucinations. Pride. Visions & Reminiscence"

It's not profound and some parts of its base premise wouldn't hold up to close scrutiny...but we enjoyed it.

If you like exciting, polished action with a veneer of fantasy/science fiction then you might enjoy it, too.

The critics didn't like it...they made the mistake of giving it close scrutiny...so I guess there probably won't be a sequel. But if there was one, we'd gladly add it to our collection, too.

I always think I should like Terry Gilliam’s movies, and I almost do.

I saw a movie called ‘I Care a Lot’ recently. It was pretty good.

Bitten.

Body horror flick. A young woman gets taken to Costa Rica by her two friends for her bachelorette party, where she's bitten by some unknown insect while swimming in a lagoon. From there, she finds herself turning into an incubator for said insect's countless young. Gruesomely good movie.

We just watched:

The A-Team [2010]
<=>"There Is No Plan B...They Don't Need One."

Fun action movie.

Even funner if you enjoyed the original TV show.

Either way, I enjoy the way the movie introduces the four members of theA-Team.

I'm in the middle of watching Red Sparrow with Jennifer Lawrence.

It's redoubling my pity for the Russian soldiers stuck in Ukraine right now.

It's a long documentary, but it's quite interesting to see how the movie came about , as well how the cast was chosen etc..

Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer. Saw it in the 90s. I think I appreciated it more this time.
