Last night we finished watching all of the Star Trek: Short Treks episodes. Even though it has ties to Star Trek: Discovery, which we've seen none of, we enjoyed it. Each episode is a short gem.

I'm not sure, however, about the best viewing order. It appeared to me it had some references to more than just Star Trek: Discovery part of the Star Trek universe.

Been binging the first two seasons of 'Community' (after watching like 3 episodes of season one months ago and thinking it wasn't good enough to binge), and the last episode I watched was Troy and Abed taking the librarian to the VDay dance, Troy ends it after she called Abed weird, Britta thinks the girl she hangs out with is a Lesbian while the other girl thinks Britta's a Lesbian, and Jeff and the Anthro Professor are trying to just watch the Liverpool/Man U game until Chang shows up and hijacks it to turn it into a house party.

Storm Warning & The Island

Two episodes of 'The Baron' from 1967, comprising a single story. On a business trip to Macau, Mannering ends up stowing away on a ship in order to rescue his assistant Cordelia, who is being held captive there (being captured or kidnapped is something Cordelia excels at). It turns out that the ship's captain intends to divert the landing capsule of an Apollo spacecraft into his part of the sea and steal it - heaven knows why.

This being 'The Baron', Mannering gets plenty of opportunities to punch the living daylights out of the ship's crew, but he also comes into possession of a sub-machinegun, with which he massacres a number of others.

The ship's captain is played by Reginald Marsh, whom Coronation Street fans from a certain era will recognize as bookmaker Dave Smith. I think he bears a striking resemblance to the British Union of Fascists leader Sir Oswald Mosley, and might have been a good choice to play him in a drama about that period (the 1930s):

Pennyworth. Story of a young Alfred Pennyworth, just after his SAS days when he wants to build a security firm, when he meets Americans Thomas Wayne and Martha Kane before his days as Batman's butler.

I've just watched the episode of Green Acres where Lisa baked her first cake and her and Oliver were finding all sorts of things in the cake and Lisa pulled out a tie at the end.

We're on for The Last Kingdom now. Just finished series 1.

If you like good battle scenes then give it a go.

Little Britain, Series 3 Episodes 1-3

Never watched this before. It's a pretty tasteless comedy series shown on the BBC about 15 years ago. Would never be made today, as it might 'offend' some people. LOL.

I hated it. My daughter loves it though but it makes me cringe. Never really been a fan of Walliams.

I'm on the second episode now. It hasn't yet gripped my attention in the way Mandalorian did. Seems a bit dull so far.

Little Britain, Series 3, Episodes 4 & 5

This is really just a degenerate version of 'The Fast Show'. LOL.

The travel agency sketches are my favourites.
