This series ran from 1979 to 1994 in the UK, and starred Arthur Cole as dodgy businessman Arthur Daley

I meant George Cole. Must reduce my intake of cheap wine, lol.

Senior Citizen Caine, Series 4, Episode 2 of 'Minder' from 1984

These wordplay-type episode titles are very common throughout this show. The episode is almost too daft for words, and centres on the aftermath of the death of an ageing businessman's wife, and the attempts of his family to rob him of his inheritance. The old scoundrel, who bears quite a resemblance to the notorious British anti-hero Alf Garnett, prevails in the end, thanks to some support from Terry and a bit less from Arthur.

High Drains Pilferer, Series 4, Episode 3 of 'Minder' from 1984.

Oh, I get it now, these plays on words in the titles refer to well-known films ('High Plains Drifter' in this case). Another ridiculously far-fetched story involving crooks major and minor, insurance companies, useless police officers, Arthur and Terry, and £30,000 worth of jewellery stolen from the classy girlfriend of local gangster Mickey The Fish, played by Sheila Ruskin. Arthur tries to profit from the situation, but is undone by his own naivety and ineptitude, but Terry does rather better for himself, ending up in bed with Sheila's character.

I'm binge watching all 50 episodes of the Ghost and Mrs Muir (1968-69). Which was a childhood favorite. My current opinion of it is that it's a very well done show. It's based on the 1947 movie of the same name.
