I did not know that. You made me want to watch the film.
It is a fun film despite its flaws.

Dune
Good for what it is, but lacking the richness of the book.

Baywatch
Better than expected.

Your Christmas or Mine?
I've seen worse Christmas films. Asa Butterfield made it worthwhile.

I certainly agree with you about Dune.

Violent Night

@ Where am I: Which version of Dune are you referring to?
The one by David Lynch or the two-part remake? :?

The most recent theatrical release, which has so far only presented the first half.

Unforgiven
Very good

I got the DVD from Netflix and watched Unforgiven. Good story, good acting, and good photography. It made me really dislike Gene Hackman and I had to remind myself I disliked his character, not the actor. Morgan Freeman was good, as usual.

White Noise
Very good Noah Baumbach film. Not a film everyone will like but I thought it was great.

Emily the Criminal (2022)

Aubrey Plaza is in this film. She is no April Ludgate, and she looks every bit her 38 years of age. It is a dramatic role. There is no humor. It a bit sad and bleak. It's nice she is branching out.

It's a compelling movie. Emily (Aubrey Plaza) graduates with massive college debt, over seventy-thousand, and no one will hire her for a "real job" because she has a record. So she works as a food delivery driver (a contract worker). Then when she does a favor for a coworker, he introduces her to the world of credit card scams.

I just had Christmas Vacation on in the background.

Love the rants.

Not sure if this would count (or not), but I watched an animated adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe's
The Tell-Tale Heart on You-Tube.

It was made in the 1950s and is narrated by James Mason.

If you watch it (regardless of how many times),
you will know it will stick with you.
