Just watched Star Trek TOS episode on pluto.tv

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Taste_of_Armageddon

Spock saves the day with “Vulcanian” telepathy through a wall convincing a guard to open a door and come into the room to get clobbered.

Kirk threatens to destroy all cities on the planet.

For some reason Kirk can’t out punch two guards. In other episodes he could take on a half dozen.

The old TOS was much more space cowboy with fist fights a regular thing.

I am slightly embarrassed to admit I liked the sexy outfits the women wore.

Spock rules.

I remember this episode!! I love The Original Series and never get tired of watching it!

A Dalek chassis, disfigured head, a light for yes/no.
No expense spared.

This was a great episode. So horrible what happened to Captain Pike but he found happiness and peace in the end. I love his character and story. I love Jeffrey Hunter's portrayl of him in the pilot episode "The Cage".

Another favorite Star Trek TNG scene from "The Best of Both Worlds" Part II. This scene just came to mind just because of some personal experiences the last couple of days. Mostly the quote "Almost Human". Love this scene and the way Picard just stares out at the window trying to grapple with the memories of his trauma as a borg at the end gives me chills.

Another one of my favorite Starfleet Captains. Benjamin Sisko from Deep Space Nine

This is one of the best acted scenes I've seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation. This is from the Season 3 Episode 23 episode "Sarek". In this scene Captain Picard mind melds with Ambassador Sarek who is suffering from a syndrome which weakens his ability to control his emotions. He mind melds with Captain Picard to regain emotional control to conduct a negotiation. They basically swap their minds with Picard's emotional control in Sarek's body and Sarek's unstable emotions in Picard's body. This scene just blows me away to this day. Patrick Stewart should have won an award for this episode.

^Some great acting there.

Yesterday I watched Section 31 with Michelle Yeoh as the star. It was a good adventure but the reviews I've read haven't been favourable. The only gripe I have is that the fight sequences were too jumpy and didn't show enough detail. Otherwise I enjoyed this movie.

Has anyone else seen it?

I personally like Star Trek: The Next Generation out of all of them and my favorite character from that show is Geordi La Forge. I have nothing else to say about it other than that.

I haven't seen Section 31 but heard about it and it looks interesting! I always loved the concept of Section 31. I will have to watch some episodes :)

I do too! I have memories of watching The Next Generation with my Dad when I was 7. My uncle is a huge Star Trek fan and collected Original Series action figures and toys along with The Next Generation. I remember going over to his house when I was little and seeing the little "Transporter" toy he had and loved playing around with it. I felt like a kid in a candy store. I love it though and was glad I was introduced to it at a young age. I love Geordi too! I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have his job and manage the whole Engineering Department.

This ending is still so sad yet powerful. Wish I could have seen this in theatres.

A great Geordi moment. He definitely had the makings of a Starship Captain.

Opening credits to Star Trek: Picard Season 3. Thought this was awesome when I seen it. Loved how they used the "First Contact" theme and Star Trek: Next Generation theme and the graphics they used were incredible.
