If Hardy can replicate his Bronson role, then it will be fun watching him go toe to toe with Christian Bale. He's a very flexible kind of actor, plus he nabs the best lines in Inception. Still, the Dark Knight will be hard to beat.

What is going to make the the Dark Knight hard to beat was the Joker that just danced around the other criminals and being able to bring the madness without ruining therealism. The difficulty will be makeing him not only very inteligent, but his strength which is increased a lot by "venom" in whatever way they bring it in, and not ruin the realism.

There is also the question of how to fit Catwoman in, I supose they could have her as a master thief, and they did kill of his love interest in the last film.

Even though Selina Kyle is going to be in TDKR, she might not be Catwoman, Bane should not be the only villain in TDKR, here is who else should be in TDKR

Kara Tointon (Dawn Swann in EastEnders) as Talia Al Ghul

Eric Roberts as Sal Maroni/Black Mask- We did not see Sal Maroni die in the car crash in The Dark Knight, even though in the comic books Sal Maroni and Black Mask are different characters, I think Maroni's face becomes horribly burnt and disfigured due to the car crash, so he is forced to wear a special Black Burn mask (Very similar to the Doctor Who villain Shraraz Jek), so he becomes Black Mask and forces his gang to wear masks forming the Masked society.

Liam Neeson as Ra's Al Ghul- I think Ra's survived the train crash in Batman Begins and adopts the Alter Ego of the Red Hood laying a trap for Batman, TDKR will also reveal that Ra's al Ghul was behind the creation of the Joker.

I would also would love Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow and Victor Zsasz to come Back in The Dark Knight Rises.

Well personally I would like to see Hugo Strange be in there, him and Bane are two of the few to actually figure out Bruce is Batman, and Strange in some depictions created something that could create "Monster Men" couldn't be too far of a stretch to conect it to Venom. Also the last film ended with Batman becoming wanted, it would make sense that the police bring in a specialist to figure out who he is, it could be intereting having both the police and having formidible villains.
