In the US, they're mostly edited for time. There's one line that I really wish they hadn't edited out - Homer saying about Apu, "He's not happy at all! He lied to us through song! I HATE when people do that!"

From what I read on www.snpp.com , it's nowhere near as bad here as it is in America. But it sucks that they edit it at all. They always screen them uncensored at 7:30pm the first time they're on, so it's not really for censorship reasons. And I've read the TV guidelines, they don't have to if they don't want to.
