The one where Sakaki finds a Iromote cat and pets it instead of getting her hand chomped down on. Cats normally bite her.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

Three Doctor Who episodes between Jodie Whitaker and Ncuti Gatwa, the three episodes with David Tennant and Catherine Tate.

These are labeled as Doctor Who specials (2023).

The Star Beast
Wild Blue Yonder
The Giggle

I enjoyed all three.
The fate of the David Tennant Doctor (part 2) is interesting.

I then watched the fourth special, which is the Christmas special from 2023. I've already watched it, but I felt like watching it again.

Star Wars: The Acolyte.

Taking place during the Old Republic, 100 years before the Empire, apparently the Sith are assassinating Jedi, and are trying to frame a former Jedi Padawan for the murders.
So far pretty good. It has a Samurai vibe to it.

Lovejoy - Season 2 episode 4, or 5 maybe. Montezuma's Revenge. Not a great episode. Leans a bit too hard on the silliness.

Raising Voices (2024)

8 episode Spanish series about a group of high school friends and the story of how one tries to bring attention to the faculty that there is a rapist in the school. Watched on Netflix.

The high school girls are not idealized American middleclass young ladies. They lean towards the rougher side of things (drinking, smoking, drugs). Their relationships are interesting with each other, and boyfriends. Half or the boyfriends are sexist pigs. (Not literally half) Technically, there are four girls, one is a lesbian, and I think only one had a boyfriend, (a sweet talking jerk). The main character, Alma, doesn't really have a boyfriend, though she interested in her best friend's brother (a nice guy that grows and sells pot).

I had difficulty relating to the teens, because drinking, smoking, and drugs were not where my interests lay when I was a teenager. Still, it was a interesting and good story. It had a message.

It is in Spanish and can be viewed in Spanish with English subtitles or in dubbed English. The dubbing for a few people was a bit poor.

The one where Miu contemplates the difference between a friend and a best friend.

My favorite part is when navigating the American Healthcare System turns into this M.C. Escher nightmare.

That was brilliant. Butters usually has great moments. The cereal/sugar mafia was a lot of fun too. I liked the Mad Max style road scene near the end.

Part One (Past several days)
Bob's Burgers
Seasons 1 through 3
Makes me laugh, most of the time. Sometimes I understand what Bob means when he tells his family "You're all horrible people." The funny part is when the family does not let Bob down, Bob does an excellent job failing himself. It's very human.

Part Two (Today)
Sweet Tooth

[Much anticipated] Season 3
Episodes 1 through 6 (of 8)
I will finish episodes 7 and 8 before the end of the day.
The show unexpectedly makes gives me an emotional lump in the throat, sometimes at the darnedest things. It unexpected makes me despise some characters who even after they explain their motivation for being so selfish and cruel, does not sway me in the least. They are simply evil.

Time to start episode 7.
