I never could figure out why MadTv never got the respect that it deserved, it was consistently much funnier than SNL over the course of it's run, yet no one seemed to notice. Interestingly, quite a few of the writers ended up on Family Guy, and if you watch the early episodes you can really see the influence, especially in their signature "how long will they stretch this out?" gag epitomized by Peter wheezing after skinning his knee.

I remember that clip! That one was hilarious as well; but most of MadTV's skits were pretty hilarious.

Too bad it was cancelled. :cry:

My favorite clip has always been the Birth Control Pilgrim "UNHAND THY GIGGLE-STICK SINNER!" Unfortunately I haven't been able to find that online for years.
