Who else here loves AMC's Breaking Bad? It's currently the only show on that actually gets me to turn on the TV.

For those who don't know: the show is about an extremely overqualified high school chemistry teacher who turns to making crystal meth after discovering he has terminal lung cancer. It's got great acting, writing, directing, music, etc.. IMO, it's the best show on the air.

I saw a couple of episodes one weekend when staying with family. I noticed that one of the highlighted symbols in the credits was not an element. Anyone else notice this? I think it was Ch in the name Michael.

My wife and I are hooked on Breaking Bad. It's the only show where you end up caring about drug dealing scumbags.

I absolutely love Breaking Bad. It's one of the few shows where I can't wait 'til the next episode.

I definitely have an affinity for Jesse Pinkman. Except for the fact that I don't listen to rap and I don't call everyone "b***h", I can really relate to the character. I was that intelligent kid with no ambition who failed high school chemistry while, at the same time, I was synthesizing my own recreational chemical analogs for personal use. (Just a little side note in case anyone feels like preaching: That was more than 10 years ago and I've since realized the error of my ways) The scene where Jesse finds an old test, which Walt gave him an "F" on and wrote, "Ridiculous! Apply yourself!" hit home, as my teachers were constantly writing stuff like, "You are much smarter than you are driven!" on my failed assignments and tests. Also, just like the test he found, I would turn mine over and just draw on the back if I didn't know the answers.

Dexter is my other favorite show as well. The themes for both of those shows are the only ringtones I've bought for my phone.

Great show, I particularly enjoyed the scene from season 1 involving the bag of ammonium tri-iodide crystals, that really took me back to middle school... I'm a little behind at the moment, I've been busy getting my girlfriend through Dexter and Arrested Development, while she's been exposing me to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Battlestar Galactica.

I am nearly finished season three. The show demands an interest that is neurotic.
