The Nostalgia Critic recently did a list of his Top 11 Strangest Couples http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videol ... st-couples
Some of these choices I would agree with except for 10, 9, 8, 7 and 6 because I have never seen them and I haven't seen 4 for a long time but aside from the ones the critic chose that I would agree with, here are some others I would have added in no particular ranking order, just random.

Peter and Lois Griffin from Family Guy
Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory
Hellboy and Liz Sherman from the Hellboy Movies
Mr Spock and Lt Uhura from the JJ Abrams Star Trek Movies
Worf and Jadzia Dax from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Odo and Major Kira from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Megamind and Roxanne Ritchi from Megamind
Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Gloria and Melman from the Madagascar Movies
Fred and Wilma Flintstone from The Flintstones
Barney and Betty Rubble from The Flintstones
Buzz Lightyear and Jessie from Toy Story 3
Silverbolt and Blackarachnia from Beast Wars: Transformers
Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable from Kim Possible
April O Neil and Casey Jones from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Fry and Leela from Futurama
Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny from The Looney Tunes Show
Daffy Duck and Tina Russo from The Looney Tunes Show
Robin and Starfire from Teen Titans
Leonardo and Karai from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Stan And Francine Smith from American Dad
Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast

Actually, I think Sheldon and Amy are a great couple, as they're both obviously Aspies, though she's a bit more socialized than him.

As for my strange couple -
Robert E. Howard and Novalynne Price (both based on actual people) in The Whole Wide World.

I didn't think some of the couples from the shows I seen were that strange. I think Zoe & Wash from Firefly were a pretty strange match.

Kiri Komori and Ms. Chie from Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei. It came out of nowhere and made absolutely no sense. Actually, that describes a good chunk of the show's content, pairings aside...

Ross and Rachael in Friends. Really don't know what she saw in him.

Penny and Leonard - I can't stand Leonard he's such a whiney, pathetic guy. He tears her down all the time.

Chandler and Monika in friends - Chandler was my favourite and they paired him up with mental head case Monika.

Raymond and whoever his wife is in Everyone loves Raymond - an awful "comedy" about a man living with a woman with borderline personality disorder.

I never got the Warf and Dax thing in DS9 either or Keira and Odo.

Picard and the Doctor Crusher in the Next Generation. Don't understand why he liked her.

John and Deborah Clasky in Spanglish. Why did he stay with her? I don't get it. She cheated on him. He had a get out of jail free card. She was horrible to their children. He could have taken them with him and no one would blame him.

One word: Scourtney:

The devious dirt farmer and the preppy type A CIT, a strange pairing that seems to work in certain areas... Oh, and it's totally one-sided as of right now. :P

Did I mention that I have an unhealthy obsession with these two?

Duncney? What's Duncney? LOL...

I will watch Everybody Loves Raymond if nothing else is on. I think that it can be pretty funny at times, but it is also very painful to watch at other times. Not "painful" as in "the jokes are lame", but "painful" as in "the characters treat each other so horribly". The thought often crosses my mind that if you took the laugh track out of the show, it would probably be a straight-up drama instead of a comedy.

I believe you are right. I watched it with my parents years ago and I barely laughed. I only wanted to watch it because Brad Garrett was in it.

By the way, hurtloam, the wife's name is Debra.

....all I can think of is Lord Zedd & Rita Repulsa on Power Rangers.....

OH! Also Silverbolt & Black Arachnia on Beast Wars

I may soon have to include Lauren & Evony/The Morrigan on Lost Girl if that's going where I think it's going ( PLEASE...NO SPOILERS! I watch on Syfy so I'm obviously behind the initial Showcase airings )

I just thought of another...well, they're technically divorced but what the heck did Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz's ex wife see in him? And how did they end up with such a smoking hot daughter like Vanessa? ( that's Phineas & Ferb if you didn't figure that out already )

...IMO, maybe Agents Ward & May on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. qualify....though I'm not 100% sure whether they're a couple or just having casual sex...
