Who watches this show of awesomeness?

My favorite part about this show is how even though it takes place in a fantasy world with fantasy elements (e.g. dragons, demons), it is quite possibly the most realistic representation of what medieval life was really like.

Can't wait for season 3!

Love it!

I so hope Joffrey gets what's coming to him!

I'm pretty obsessed with A Song of Ice and Fire. Both the show, and especially the books, have been an absolutely fantastic addition to my life. After I'd finished Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings, I couldn't help but feel like I'd never again stumble on a series of books that could be nearly as enthralling...and then I found A Game of Thrones. After having read the series up until A Dance with Dragons, I decided to give the HBO series a chance, only to realize it's my absolute favorite t.v. series in history, woot! Winning from every angle.

Lord Tyrrion is my favorite. A midget never kicked that much ass.

Have really enjoyed the first two seasons so far. I've read Game of Thrones and just finished Clash Of Crowns, and am about 75 pages into Storm of Swords - finally slowly learning what happens in the story after season 2. Was really amazed by how much the TV show stuck to the books, especially season 1 & the first book. Season 2 seemed to have a little more deviation from Clash Of Crowns but still 95% match.

Here's the thread I was looking for, now that I have seen all of season 1 and 2 I don't know if I can wait for season 3. But yeah I certainly cannot think of any shows that are more awesome.

Tyrion rules. He has been my favorite character from the git go. Next to him I liked Ned Stark the best.

The bastards killed Ned!

I really liked the first two seasons. But then I started reading the books and since I know now that the story gets kind of dull and stupid after book three, I'm a little concerned for the show. They'll probably do a bunch of things differently.
