This is a tough question but I think I agree that Doctor Who is my favorite show ever. This does change for me regularly. Others in the running are Buffy the Vampire Slayer and X Files.
For comedy it is Seinfeld or Big Bang Theory.

Really? Seasons 3-5 are still the undisputed best, with season 4 taking the cake. Also That 70's Show, but the first 4 maybe 5 seasons were the best.
The cable crown should go to Mythbusters though.

What I meant to say was that I love the first 16 seasons of The Simpsons. The 17th and 18th seasons had a few good episodes but that is where it probably went downhill for me. The movie was great though. They should make another.
