Now that the Christmas season has officially arrived (I don't consider it Christmas until the first Sunday of Advent. And that's tomorrow), I thought I'd make official Christmas themed threads. First up, what's your favorite Christmas movie or special.
For Christmas movie, I'll go with It's a Wonderful Life. And for special, I always make a point to watch the Charlie Brown and Grinch specials (I detest the Ron Howard version though. Jim Carrey as the Grinch is just disturbing. BRR!) To me, it's just not Christmas without Charlie Brown and his wimpy tree or the Grinch song.

Same here, along with Edward Scissorhands (if it counts. Part of the movie does take place during Christmas and snow plays an important symbolic part in the story.)

"You'll shoot your eye out, kid"...what other Christmas movie gets a 24-hour marathon showing on Christmas Eve through the end of Christmas Day?

There are just too many great memorable scenes in " A Christmas Story" that so many people can relate to in this movie...after all, what kid hasn't stuck his tongue to cold, frozen metal and gotten it stuck there? Or forced to wear something "hand made" by some relative as the pink bunny suit?

"A Christmas Story", "White Christmas", "Nightmare Before Christmas", and "It's a Wonderful Life"; all in no particular order.
