I'm extremely excited about the Hobbit movies. I love Jackson's LOtR movies to death, I must have seen them twenty times. I just hope that somehow the Hobbit movies can have a similar tone. It might be difficult, because it is sort of more of a children's book. But I'd love it if the Hobbit movies could sit nicely alongside the other movies. A five-part epic!

Indeed. :D

The Five Part Epic Hobbit film might put an end to the LOTR story. Or will it?

Haha actually there are going to be two Hobbit films: An Unexpected Journey and There and Back Again. So I meant the five parts as in, An Unexpected Journey, There and Back Again, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King.

It's amazing to me that Jackson can make two movies out of The Hobbit. It's not that long. But I think that the extra time will be filled up with "implied scenes" and parts from Tolkien's other writings. So for example we will see certain things from the eyes of Gandalf during the time that he is not with the adventurers.

World War Z? really I can't believe anybody takes something such as zombies seriously these days. In fact I've often wondered if people in the past believed to be zombies were really sleepwalking. When people sleepwalk their eyes are usually wide-open but blank, they are unaware of their surroundings, and they may walk outside and through swamps and other places where they get dirty and smelly. People who sleepwalk are actually difficult to wake up (it's really a myth that it's dangerous to wake them, especially when they're in a situation that already IS dangerous), and I once read about a guy who tied his foot to his bed so he wouldn't get far, but he ended up sleepwalking down the street, dragging his battered bed behind him. :)
