Usually most movies and t.v shows are likely for the opposite gender...but I don't think it really matters I just find girly shows/movies kind of boring since I don't relate to any of that stuff. Some comedies more directed at females are ok, but only if they are especially funny.

I remember I looked at Gossip Girl, influenced by my girlfriend at the time, and it was enjoyable. And anime series like Itazura Na Kiss, Romeo x Juliet or Angel Beats, I like them too. In general I enjoy some shoujos, as long as they are not sentimental to the point it feels contrived. And some shows in Disney Channel were my guilty pleasure .

Not shows but i managed to absorb a lot of feminist ideas as i was growing up through reading books that later turned out to be by quite feminist authors.

Years ago, as a history buff I had actually come to enjoy the movie The English Patient, despite the fact that it's considered a chick flick.
Then I discovered that a huge number of historic facts were altered to the point of out and out fiction, solely for the sake of drama. Most glaring was how Ralph Feinnes' character had been horribly burned. In fact, the character he had played was never burned - - not even slightly. And unlike the movie where Feinnes hands maps over to the Germans in order to save the woman he loves, the guy he played did this because he was Pro-Nazi!

Since then, I figured, to hell with The English Patient. :x

Powderpuff Girls was enjoyable when I was young...and I think Hot in Cleveland would count. Decent show that has its moments.

I used to watch The Powerpuff Girls every day, and I watch MLP which I suppose would be directed at girls.

I watched a lot of "guy shows" and whatnot as a kid mainly because I had a younger brother and a lot of male cousins, heck, I only had one other female cousin and she lived all the way in Texas and I rarely get to see her. But yeah, growing up with a lot of male cousins and often being the only girl does that to you.

I am like that with anime since i mostly watch anime that is meant for boys since most of the girl stuff is too frilly for me or has too much romance. [ though i still like dn angel]

I have enjoyed many shows "intended" for the opposite sex. Power Puff Girls, Clueless (God i loved that show), Sex and the City and Totally Spies. And about a year ago i watched the entire season of H2o. It's a show about australian mermaids! I'm sure i've seen more shows but i can't remember much anymore

Im the only person I know who ever watched "Sex in the City."

Thought it was fun to watch most of the time.

Though its intended for women none of the women I know admit to watching it.

Seriously, Power Puff Girls is for girls? I watched, along with all my guy friends in secondary school. We loved the heck out of that toon!

I'm not sure that it's valid to assume anything is for a particular gender - even if the creator(s) intended it that way. Yes, there are some things women are more likely to enjoy and other things men are more likely to, but that isn't written in stone anywhere. Enjoy what you enjoy and don't worry so much about it.

Yes I do; it's a comedy on CBS called 2 Broke Girls.

Add me to the list of guys who loved the Powerpuff Girls! Then again, I knew quite a few straight guys who were really into that show. It seems to go for the same male demographic that today watches My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I never got into MLP: Friendship is Magic. Maybe I should start watching it.
