How could I forget Quantum Leap? I was devastated when it ended. But, we have copies of all the episodes and we're slowly but surely watching it all over again.

While not a movie or show, the video-game franchise "Timesplitters" is pretty cool.

there was an Australian tv show in the early 90's called THE Girl from Tomorrow and the second series Tomorrows end it was about Alana who was from the year 3000 it was a show I enjoyed.

Went and saw Looper tonight. It was amazing.

And actually, one of my previous favorite time travel storylines also involved Bruce Willis, the movie 12 Monkeys.

Terminator is good, but the sequels ruined the story. Even though as an action movie Terminator 2 is better, it was the most pointless sequel ever. The story of the first one pretty firmly establishes that everything they tried to do in the 2nd was going to be a moot point and nothing was accomplished. People complain about the third one, but the second one should have ended the way the third one did.

Yes it does. Personally, I liked the short story better than the movie dramatization (can you spell "overacting", Bronson Pinchot?).

Terminator (particularly The Sarah Connor Chronicles).

Interesting. I like my arrow of time pointed firmly in the one direction, thank you.

I maintain my theory that time travel is impossible by evidence of, no one has ever traveled back to our time or before. If someone had done it, we would know, because if one person can invent it in the future, no matter how secret it is, it is going to get in the hands of someone else eventually, or invented again. Someone irresponsible is going to get their hands on it eventually at some point in the future, doesn't matter when, and start dicking around with the space time continuum and somewhere in our history would have made their presence known. Since this isn't the case, I assume its because time travel is impossible.


And yet I still like watching movies about it and arguing about plot inconsistencies
