an indie flick called coffee and cigarettes.

there's a lot of big name stars in it but the movie went under the radar for the most part...i'll post a couple of my favorite scenes.


the movie is split up into vignettes and essentially the premise is a variety of conversations that take place over a cup of coffee and a smoke. awkwardness and funny moments ensue. it's very subtle at times but i think it's great.

Was this the same director that did "smoke" and "blue in the face"....?

I also saw a movie with Tom Waits,I think he had been released or escaped from jail....(Dang alzheimer's)it was really good.Luckily,with my memory problems, I can watch it movies after about a year and it's like they are brand new.

imdb says it is the same director...and also says that coffee and cigarettes was still being made when blue in the face was released.

I loved the ones with Bill Murray and Cate Blanchett!

Were they shown in the order they were filmed?

ii'm not sure if they were shown in the order they were filmed...but i think so...because the steven wright roberto beninni one was first filmed and first shown.
