Ghostbusters [1984] or Ghostbusters [2016]? We liked both.

Last night we watched:

The Happytime Murders [2018]
<=>"No Sesame. All Street." This tagline got them sued by Sesame Street!

Don't be fooled by the trailer. The movie is much better than the trailer suggests.

It is a good, fun Action/Comedy/Crime movie...with puppets.

My wife and I have been fans since we saw it when it first played in the theater.

Last night we watched:

After Yang [2021]

IMDb lists the movie with two genres: Drama, Science Fiction.

I could've used more Science Fiction. Or some comedy. Just not so much slow Drama.

My bride liked it. I thought it was OK.

The general "feel" of After Yang [2021] reminded me of a movie my bride was unfamiliar with, so...

Last night we watched:

Safety Not Guaranteed [2012]

<=>___*WANTED* Someone to go back in time_______
<=>___*WANTED* Someone to go back in time_______
<=>___with me. This is not a joke. You'll get___
<=>___paid after we get back. Must bring your__
<=>___own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I___
<=>___have only done this once before.__________

<=>___*WANTED* Someone to go back in time_______

A good flick even it it is not my normal kind of movie.

Recommended!

The Last Matinee.

Spanish language horror film with English subtitles, where a small theater playing b movies has a Frankenstein film playing for the last matinee of the day for just a few customers, where one of them proves to be an eye collecting, homicidal maniac. Second rate slasher. The Frankenstein movie playing on the screen looked better.

Last night we watched:

The Bad Guys [2022]
<=>"Good is No Fun at All"

A good movie. It's a lot of fun.

While the graphics are good I don't think they warrant going to 4K UHD.

Last night we watched:

Everything Everywhere All at Once [2022] Working title: A Woman tries to do her Taxes
<=>"The universe is so much bigger than you realize."

It is a really, really good movie!

It is a really, really strange movie!

Recommended...if you are OK with well-done strangeness...and everything bagels.

A great movie that uses a hybrid of live-action footage and stop-motion animation very well.

IMO, I can see this getting a bunch of awards come awards season! :)
