Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Not a terrible Marvel movie, but not nearly as good as the original Black Panther.
The biggest disappointment was what they did to Namor's Atlanteans (here's a hint: they aint Atlanteans anymore!).

It got right down to business almost immediately, the tension never slowed down!

Dave Bautista gave a excellent performance!

Pearl.

Great horror/comedy. Prequel to the black horror/comedy, X.
We find a young Pearl living on a farm in WWI era Texas, her head filled with dreams of stardom. But her head is also filled with psychotic rage. And she'll kill to get what she wants.

Saw this during its theatrical run and liked it.

Watched this film this time with my mom and my NT sister & they liked it just as much as me.

Maybe not the best film in the franchise, but not the worst.

Bullet Train (2022)

Entertaining movie, liked all the plot twists, very Smoking Aces: Assassin's Ball but went even more for the irony and philosophy.

Oblivion (2013)

Good plot twists and frame capture / shifting. Made me think of Peter Watts Blindsight a bit but something more like a Von Neumann probe rather than Rorschach.

I wanted to see this during its theatrical run, but decided against it.

Anyway, this was an excellent psychological horror film with great performances and strong tension to match.

I like it a lot, too.

A fun classic.
