I watched "what we do in the shadows" on monday because it was a very bad day and two friends insisted I distracted myself with some comedy, and one of them recommended me this one. It was fun, it's a mockumentary on vampires.

The Long Kiss Goodnight.
I enjoyed it.
I like Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson.

Made me cry. Good film.

It will always be a classic of 1980s film.

I liked it, but it for mature adults with an open mind. It got censored in Russia--scenes got deleted.
Pedantic Aspies may have issues with the chronology of the songs, but I thought it was fine from a holistic point of view.

Good to know. :D

I thought of seeing this today (because today is my birthday) at a theater near my home, but knowing my mother (who takes pride in being a raging LGBT-phobe), I decided against it because my mom could have accused me of being gay or bisexual, which I am not.

I am a straight male with a few LGBT friends who I get along with just fine.

High Life.
It was pretty damn good, and I don't tend to say that easily. Reminded me a lot of Solaris.
I could hardly believe they still made films like that. Highly recommended.

That nazi-smiley is highly worrying.

The film is a follow-up to the film Iron Sky (2012) in which Nazis plan to take over the world after lying dormant in a secret military base on the moon.

The trailer made the film look enjoyable ( fighting against Hitler lookalikes riding dinosaurs ) , boy was I wrong , it was shite
