Halloween.

Going under the premise that the whole Halloween franchise never happened after the original movie, this has a paranoid and traumatized Laurie Strohd (not Michael's sister anymore) living in preparation for the day Michael Myers escapes again to finish the job. Well, he does escape, pitting a sixty something year old heroine against a sixty something year old psychopath.
Meh, I was expecting something better.

Maybe, but still better than other sequels. I just saw it.

Hell Fest.

A group of college aged friends go to a mega-fun house with all sorts of scares by animatronics and employees in costumes, when they learn there really is a knife wielding psycho pursuing them.
As horror movies go, this was hardly scary in atmospheric terms. The only people who jump from sudden scares are the actors in the movie themselves. This movie could have saved itself by taking advantage of the obvious chance to use excessive gore, but it failed even in that respect. Not a great movie.

- wild wild west, i already forgot, oh yeah effects, mucho effects in front of a static scenery, fake clouds didn't move etc

Abduction.
A mindless diversion. I did enjoy it.

The Cabin in the Woods

I've seen this before. I really liked it at the theater when it was originally released. Then I was bored watching it on television, but yesterday I really enjoyed it on television. Tastes are fickle.

I enjoyed it. A highly recommended flick, but IMO, people who want to watch Glass should watch Unbreakable first, then watch Split before watching Glass.
