Cute. Some of the songs werent bad. Plot was super basic, but the animation was good. It did a pretty good job of conveying a deeper important message, so not bad. I liked it. Not in my top ten, but a fairly good watch

Alita: Battle Angel. I saw an advanced 3-D XD screening of it at my local theater last night and I really enjoyed it.

Hmmm. I was actually skeptical about this movie. Would you say its worth paying to see in theaters?

The Predator.

After two Predators arrive from space to have it out in modern America, only a busload of military men on their way to disciplinary action can save the earth.
Personally, I didn't think it was a particularly good movie, though it had impressive action scenes, and showcases the autistic son of one of the soldiers. The true intentions of the battling Predators is also rather interesting, but not enough for me to promote this movie.

I would say so. The characters are enjoyable (especially Alita), the effects are very convincing, and the fight sequences are a lot of fun to watch. It's definitely one of the better live action adaptations of Anime/Manga I've ever witnessed.
