Land of the Minotaur

Also known as The Devil's Men.

A 1976 film, the production team and many of the actors being from Greece, where it was made. Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasence have leading roles though, but these two British heavyweight actors can't save this clunker of a movie. For the record, Cushing is the leader of an evil cult based around the Ancient Minoan Minotaur, to which unsuspecting foreign tourists are sacrificed after being captured. Pleasence, as a Catholic Priest, is our hero and somehow vanquishes the cultists by reciting some prayers at them after breaking into their lair.

My version of this was on a Mill Creek dvd in a pretty poor, unrestored condition. The YouTube clips below seem to be from much better prints.

Frankenstein (2004).

It was closer to the book than any other Frankenstein movie I know of.

Unhinged.

Intense road rage movie where Russel Crowe plays a hapless character driven to a psychotic break who harasses a troubled soon-to-be-divorced housewife and mother over a bad street encounter. Kept me on the edge of my seat!

he has been banned from at least one airline for abusing staff and the same for at least one hotel when he assaulted a staff member. IRL he is a real piece of work.
