Do you like the Shannara novels? or the new Shannara TV series?

Some people criticize its just imitation of Lord Of Rings, or Game Of Thrones...

Maybe fantasy genre is borrowing from each other, but perhaps it is still entertaining.

Actually Game Of Thrones book wise would be copying from The shannara books and not the other way around.

The book order was Lord Of Rings, Shannara, and Game Of Thrones.
But video order was Lord Of Rings, Game Of Thrones, Shannara, so people who only watch TV think Shannara is new, when its books are actually older than Game Of Thrones.

When the book first appeared, Sword Of Shannara was heavily criticized for imitating Lord Of Rings.

But I still like the new TV series, its made in New Zealand with the same people who did Lord Of Rings movies.
