don't know.. might me a combination

but since i was diagnosed i find myself relating to many fictional caracters on the base of aspergers.. i see clearer that i share my responses with them, and i understand them better...

I think aspies want to find people in fiction that they can look up to, to say "hey, my hero has AS just like me!"

It's such a shame that there are so few fictional characters with AS.

Nah, don't think CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow is aspie. He is too charismatic and has good persuasion skills, which is how he worms out of trouble all the time (think of his deal with Barbossa in the later part of PotC: CotBP). He sure is funny as hell to watch, though. A very well-made character.

Even though I agree that most ones with developmental disorders are more likely to be victims of crimes, that does not mean that they never commit crimes
