Any LOTSW fans?

They used to film it at the end of my road (Auntie Wainwright's shop). I'd come home from work to find they'd parked the crew's mobile toilet outside my front door. They'd fill the street with all their filming paraphernalia, including cables and those little railway lines they run the cameras on. I couldn't park in front of my own house and found the crew to be rather an arrogant lot to deal with. I've never actually watched the programme all the way through, but I can say I'm not very enamoured with it.

... that was a bit weird. Never even thought about Compo having a proper name. Did Roy Clarke have some deep and mysterious reason for naming him after a 19th century astrologer?

My Mum does the ironing. I have done it on occasions... My Mum does not let me use her iron for other things. It would be great for soldering, but no. It is for ironing only.

To get the thread to make sense again... I was once told I was a cross between Mr Bean and Frank Spencer.... Was due to my masking humour I guess.

I really like the early versions of LOTSW. They had a relaxing atmosphere to them.
