Here is my drawing of cartoon characters that actually have autism:
Image

I thought you could post images directly from your computer and I feel like I did that before but I guess you have to hot-link.

Anyway the characters in my drawing, some of whom you're or you should be familiar with, are Pablo from the Irish show "Pablo," Julia from the kid show "Sesame Street," Carl Gould the rabbit from Arthur, Andy from the infamous cartoon "Caillou," and Dennis the Deinocheirus from "Dinosaur Train," which I don't really watch all that much.

This picture only includes cartoon characters that officially have autism, not cartoon characters we think have autism, although it's still not confirmed Andy has autism but he does show some signs of it like being withdrawn from others and refusing to play with them, hating loud noise, preferring to draw pictures, and noticing details. He appears in the episode "Follow Me." To see actual screenshots of Andy https://caillou.fandom.com/wiki/Andy

And in case you don't know Pablo, https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2017/pablo and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pablo_(TV_series). It's currently available on Netflix.

I don't know how many of you watch Dinosaur Train but this is info about Dennis https://dtrain.fandom.com/wiki/Dennis

Also there are no O.C. cartoon characters or fan-made cartoon characters included, just canon cartoon characters we know have autism.

I'd like comments on this.

Nice work :) .

I’d heard of Julia, although not Carl, which surprised me a bit as I used to watch Arthur, or any of the others.

Glad to hear the number of such characters is increasing :) .

Very good drawings! I honestly had no idea there were so many autistic cartoon characters now, I think that's great 8) After looking them all up, I'm very curious to watch Pablo since it's here on Netflix.

Thanks a mill! And I just found one more autistic cartoon character. He's in the cartoon Daisy and Ollie and his name is Theo. I haven't watched that cartoon yet but did see a sample of it on express.co.UK although I just clicked the link from my journal on DeviantArt and don't see it anymore (my journal if you wish to see it https://www.deviantart.com/willm3luvtra ... -843295787, has more information.)

More info

Pablo is a little boring, the animation is a little too simple, at least that's my opinion, but it's not too bad and there's no bias in the cartoon and no ableism, it's a pretty peaceful cartoon, although the show begins and ends with live action. But I like Pablo. Haven't seen every episode yet. You might like it though!

Sorry for the late response, I just now saw your reply. And thanks for liking my drawing! :D 8)

I'm happy the number of autistic characters is increasing too and hopefully more autistic cartoon characters will come! Still hoping for an autistic Loud House character!

If you want to know more about Carl and the Arthur episodes in which he appears https://arthur.fandom.com/wiki/Carl_Gould He debuted in Season 13 starting with the episode "When Carl Met George," a.k.a. "George and the Missing Puzzle Piece."

Well, I'll just tell you this, he also appears in "Buster Spaces Out," "Baseball Blues," "Go Fly A Kite," "Carl's Concerto," and "He Said, He Said." He also makes cameo appearances in "Ladonna Compson Party Animal," "Brain Freeze," and "Arthur Takes a Stand." In "Brain's Biggest Blunder," there's a character sitting way in the back of the audience of the Arithmattack that looks a lot like Carl, only without glasses! Carl's cool, I almost cannot get enough of him!

And as I just told Mouka, I found a new autistic cartoon character named Theo, he's in the cartoon "Daisy and Ollie."
