My new Broadway musical obsession is Monty Python's Spamalot. If you're a Monty Python fan I highly recommend that you buy the CD.

We're knights of the round table
We dance whenever we're able
We do routines and chorus scenes
With footwork impecc-able
We dine well here in Camelot
We eat ham and jam and spam a lot!

'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' is also in the musical.

I have the CD. I love "The Song That Goes LIke This." It's so purposely bad and yet executed with such dignity!! !

Favourite Python film would be Holy Grail.

Favourite moment in that the film the whole swamp castle part

"One day lad, all this will be yours..."
"What the curtains?"

and Lancelot running towards the castle repeating the same bit of film looking like hes not getting closer, brilliant!! !

"Wink wink, nudge nudge, he asked Tim knowingly"

I don't really remember names of movies or episodes or whatever but I quote that every once inawhile when I get a perfect opportunity.

I like this quote from "The Holy Grail"

"I'm Aurthor, Kimg of the Britons."

"King of the who????"

"King of the Britons."

"What are Britons???"

"Well we all are... we're all Britons, and I am your King"

"My king"

"Yes"

"Well I didn't vote for you"

Click here to read the musical version of that exchange!

Excerpt:

DAD (spoken):
I feel happy. I feel happy.
(sung)
I am not dead yet
I can dance and I can sing
I am not dead yet
I can do the Highland Fling

I am not dead yet
No need to go to bed
No need to call the doctor
Cause I'm not yet dead.

BODIES:
He is not yet dead
That's what the geezer said
No, he's not yet dead
That man is off his head

He is not yet dead
So put him back in bed
Keep him off the cart because he's not yet dead.

Well now he's dead
You whacked him on the head
Sure, now he's dead
It makes me just see red
You are such a brute
To murder that old coot
You homicidal b------d, now he's really dead

((I always laugh at that last line, it's sung so cheerfully.))

My favorite is the series "Flying Circus"

and the quotes:

"I CONFESS!! !! !! !! !" (animated guy gets blown up like a balloon) "I CONFESS!! !! !! !! !" (his head pops of, goes back in place and everything happens again)

"Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam, SHUTTTTTUP SHUUUUUUT UUUUUUUUUUPPPPP!! !! !!"

"It's nothing but a flesh wond" (Holy Grail)

"Bring Out Your Dead" (Holy Grail)

"Life's a piece of Sh**. when you look at it" (Life of Brian)

"No I didn't" "Yes I have" (tipical Monty Python quotes)

"I'm Not Dead Yet!" (Holly Grail)

Holy Grail is the best one out of the 3 films! :D

Favourite quotes from movie.

"The Black Knight: I'M INVINCIBLE!
King Arthur: You're A looney."

"The Knights Of Ni: We are the keepers of the sacred words, NI! PING AND NEWONG!"

"Old Man: I don't want to go in the cart."

There are many more but there are my favourite. That is one of the funniest films this century.
