Hazbin Hotel by Vivziepop was picked up by A24. The pilot was from YouTube. There's other shows I don't know much about. Not every show from online is as lucky to get picked up. Why might be the reason?

Reason? They are simply not what producers are looking for.

Look at what does get picked up, and you may notice a pattern.

It could be any number of reasons, including:

Poor Acting
• Flat delivery
• Mumbling
• Nervousness
• Stiff Movements

Poor Directing
• Choppy editing
• Gratuitous 'fanservice'
• Slow start
• Too long

Poor Production Quality
• Bad audio
• Bad lighting
• Cheap props and sets
• Inept camera work

Poor Scripting
• Boring exposition
• Lack of continuity
• Lack of plot
• Offensive content
