Invader Zim is one of my favorite shows . My favorite is Gir. he is so funny.

what u guys think of it?

Heh, I used to watch that show a few years ago, very good stuff.

I wonder if they still make shows, if they dont the show was quite short lived.

i would think that they are since there was a multimedia expo here recently and the guy that does Zim's voice came over. it was cool

Invader ZIM lasted for just under two seasons on Nickelodeon. Jhonen Vasquez has been quoted as saying he will never understand the thought process that says, "Hey, we need a half-hour cartoon to go between Rocket Power and The Wild Thornberrys - whaddaya say we get one from that guy that does Johnny the Homicidal Maniac?"

Jhonen was also very displeased with the way Nickelodeon closed him out, especially the fact that they hung onto the rights to the 'toon - meaning that when Cartoon Network started their Adult Swim program, a section into which ZIM would actually have fit, Nickelodeon was able to squash the deal by quickly sticking it into a forgotten slot on their own brand-new all-cartoon channel, NickToons.

Rikki Simons, the voice of GIR, is thankfully far less publicity-shy than Jhonen, and has been known to participate in voiceover workshops at the San Diego International Comics Convention (also known as "ComicCon", or, to my wife, the "Annual International Aspie Convention").

I only watched one episode then left it. The only good line I saw was:

I love JTHM and Squee but for some reason never got around to getting into Zim...I need to check it out sometime.

I love Invader Zim, it's one of my favorite non-anime series!

Every character is awesome, Zim, Dib, Gaz, GIR. I love them!

Also I like other Jhonen Vazquez works, as Johnny C.

well when it went to Nick-toons it did get some more episodes. But yea Nickelodeon is being, well best word I can think of is, jerks about holding onto a licence like that. They basically said Cartoon Network will never get one of their shows.

Anyways, I love the show, despite that one REALLY disturbing scene. You know the one.

It is also responsible for the only time me and the guys spontaniously broke out in song
