Has anyone here seen the Simpsons movie? If so, what did you think? I loved it, especially the part where all the animals came in and helped Homer and Marge undress.

Worst film ever.

Seriously, terrible plot, and all the traits of a rerun show without the actual reruns. It was so far beyond dismal it wasn't even a fun train wreak to watch. You get films that completely tank, and at least it's an amusing wreak, except in this case. Seriously I have to invent another word to discribe my feelings of this movie.

Actually no lets do it Japanise anime sequal style

it was mega-hyper-super-turbo-omega-ultra-transendent-global-universedestroying-godforce-aweful

Great movie if you like the Simpsons, which my daughter and I do.

I don't think it's quite as bad as he's saying, but yes it was pretty terrible.

Eh... it was ok, well...for the first 1/2 hour after that it went downhill. There was not much to the plot, or a very good storyline, and no extra goodies/past episode jokes for longtime fans of the show, but I'm still glad I went to see it. I even went to the midnight showing and had a nice time. I first thought it wasn't that bad and I might expected too much out of it. That was until I saw the new Straight to DVD Movie Benders Big Score also by Mat Groening (and David X. Cohen) . It was awesome! A great plot many with many characters mixed in a bunch. Hidden jokes from other episodes and just all around clever. Probably due to the fact it was written for its fans and just not the general public?

So if a second Simpsons Movie comes out I'll be first in line.

I'm a huge fan of the Simpsons. Yes, the movie disappointed in times, but it is still a pretty awesome movie. The one thing I would've said is to have had Scorpio as the main bad guy, not Russ Cargill (Both had the same guy doing their voiceovers, if you notice).

It was Albert Brooks (real name is Albert Einstein) who did their voices.

I was as shocked as anyone when Bart was skateboarding and they showed his wiener.

Yeah, there are so many funny bits in that film it's hard to count.

"Right, I want 10,000 tough guys and 10,000 soft guys to make the tough guys look tougher. In this order. Tough, soft, tough, tough soft..."

And don't forget the Inuit shaman (or "boob lady", as Homer called her).

They should of done the film 10 years ago, when the program was still great, it would have been the best thing ever. I haven't seen the film, and sadly i'm not really that interested, the show is past its sell by date. The new episodes seem so deperate to be funny, they're not. The Simpsons don't need to try and be funny, they just are. All the characters have changed, its sad to watch :(

The film was absolutely stellar, easily my pick for best animation last year. Way ahead of most of the high budget CGI animation that came out in 2007.
