Aspies/Auties in Anime?

Hey anime fans,

Anybody here noticed any anime charcters who exhibit features of autism/aspergers?

Thre's only two I can think of at the moment... one is Seiji Sawamura from Midori Days. He's hopeless when it comes to social situations, he isolates himself (mostly due to his circumstances, but he does nothing to address it) and he's clueless when girls are hitting on him (recall 'First Date' and 'Shiori's Big Love Strategy')...

The other is Eureka, from Eureka Seven... Renton makes so many moves on her and she's just completely oblivious... (that said I've only seen the first 4 discs...)

Any other ideas?

Some of the ones I've wondered about.

Shizuku Tsukishima from "Whispers of the Heart" -- although she may be more fourteen than aspie.

Keitaro from "Love Hina" (And possibly Motoko as well.)

Shikamaru and Hinata from Naruto always struck me as being aspie-like.

DAH DAH DAH! *bangs head* I'm a huge Eureka seveN fan and I didn't even think of that! I'm oblivious!

Actually, wait a minute... I did think of that. I actually wrote a whole topic wth the subject "Aspies are like Coralians" back when i still had about 800 posts... nobody really answered it, so it's buried somewhere... give me a minute and i will dig it up and bump it...

who's that? I watch Bleach, but I'm can't keep track of anyone's name, except for Ichigo, Rukia and a few other main characters.

Uryuu is the guy with the glasses, the one called a Quincy. He can manifest a bow and shoot arrows.

Oh, yeah, i remember him... yep, i agree, total Aspie.

Huh... romanji is hard to pronounce unless you are familiar with the whole syllablry concept of Japanese language... It looks a lot different then it sounds. That's why i don't rememeber Japanese names very well...
