Yes i have an imdb account that pre-dates amazon buying them. But now they have made posting comments on films a living hell. I wish amazon had never bought them it was better than. It still has good info but thumbs down on the films comment boards.

It's irritating that after some time old posts are removed from imdb forums I wrote several interesting, long, deep posts on the X-men III board and they got lost this way I'm moving to marvel.com now, there my posts will enjoy longer life .

I have an account and used to post but I can't any more since they implemented their stupid verification system requiring you to verify via SMS, Amazon, credit card, or whatever. Which I refuse to do because some of the people on there seem a bit psychotic and I prefer to remain 100% anonymous. It's dumb because I was a respectful participating member then all of a sudden I'm not good enough to post any more without verifying (as if all my other normal posts didn't count for anything).

The site is populated by idiots though. You know, "normal" people that aren't very technically literate and think their little IMDB hole in the ground/nest is their domain where they are a god and all others should be silenced. I run into that a lot on non-technical boards. Draconian censorship and stupid fights (kind of like the real world dominated by the NT's).
