I only like two comedies: Skithouse and The Wedge. I like any comedies with Cal Wilson in them, as she's hilarious.

All in the Family
Any 3 Stooges skit
Keeping up Appearances (only because the lead character resembles my Mother)
Monty Python's Flying Circus
'ello , 'ello
Dad's Army

I listed 6 because I could not omit any of these and still consider it an honest reply . You might note that 4 are British comedies ... its true , American producers seem to have no clue as to what constitutes humor . I should also mention South Park and Abbot and Costello ... I think it would be easier to list 10 favorites . I really don't watch much tv anymore and when a certain FPS game is released my tv time will approach 0% .

You call it an obsession , I'll call it drive and determination

In no order and not definitive because off the top of my head.

TV:
Whose Line (both US and UK)
Home Movies
Futurama
The Simpsons (despite its mediocre later days, the first eight seasons are still some of the best comedy writing ever)
Scrubs (first three or four seasons at least)

Movies:
Groundhog Day
Spinal Tap
Galaxy Quest

Meh, I'll finish this later.

Random order, since it's hard to decide which one's best:

The Simpsons Movie
Stewie Griffin: Untold Story
The Kid (very underrated movie)
Flåklypa Grand Prix
Elling
Young Einstein
Beetlejuice
Edward Scissorhands
Happy Gilmore
Billy Madison

Not quite sure, but I do like.

The Simpsons
Futurama (this show is SO underrated)
The IT Crowd
Top Gear (to be fair, it's become more of a comedy than a car show)
Dead Ringers.
