the show is rigged, deffinetly rigged... They pick out the hardest questions which most people probably didn't even learn in 1-5th grade (atleast thats what i think)

the logic is that most people dont care enough to remember what they learned in kid school. in a classroom, only a minority actually remembers this stuff, the others memorize it for the test, and then forgets.

theyre just giving them ordinary history questions, dates, etc. stuff anybody would struggle with., but if you have the SLIGHTEST preparation in advance, just brief over some of the history of your country, some basic natural science, you should easily own that show.

when ive watched, ive known nearly everything they ask, with the exception of specific american history parts, where ive known only a little :] (cus im not american)

I've watched the show many times, I don't think I've ever gotten a question wrong, and if I have, it was still unusual. To get on the show, you have to have a PhD or something similar but actually be really stupid. There was a guy who was a pre-med student who didn't know what an esophagus was!

Yeah, I'm not impressed much with the show. They seem to pick a lot of people who are unprepared for trivia games. Any Jeapordy contestant would own this.

There's a UK version of it called "Are You Smarter Than a 10 Year-Old?"

I think so two. And the fifth-graders they have are really smart.

In math, I bet I'd lose to a 5th grader easily. I have a hard time with algebra. I bet those kids are doing it in elementary school now.

In Canada we have TWO of these series--one in English (hosted by Colin Mochrie) and one in French--and I don't watch either of them.
