Rate the Countdown hosts

This thread is inspired by my reply in "The Appreciation Thread." I know some of you like some "Countdown" hosts better than others.

If you'd like, you can rate all three hosts of "Countdown" including Des O'Connor. I'm curious to know what all you British people think of the "Countdown" hosts.

If you actually watched the show regularly like most people, you'd see what it was like. I can't rate Des O'Connor as he's not actually presented any episodes of Countdown yet!

There's not really any point rating them, anyway. Richard Whiteley was half the show and it suffers without him. Quite simple, really.

My rankings would be:

1. Richard Whiteley
2. Des O'Connor
3. Des Lynam
