^^ I am very sorry as I ave not read the happy novel, or viewed the film, however I am certain you may still ignore his account of vampires if you would wish. ^^ My little niece (who is happily ten years old) veyr enjoys the film, and has started reading the novel I believe. ^^ As this is fiction, I believe you need not take notice of this view of vampires if you wish not to do so.

I work at a group home for teenage girls, and they are obsessed with him. It has poisoned my thinking forever.

He is unattractive, both physically and emotionally, and abusive.

lol I like the choices.

no I don't like him, or the whole Twilight craze. (some of my) 5 reasons why:
Bella and Edward are obsessed with each other
Bella is a brat
Edward is made to seem perfect, when there is no such thing as a perfect guy
the books are boring
anything romance is boring to me

Ugh. My old girlfriend made me read the books, and I can't see why anybody would like the books at all, let alone Edward Cullen. The movie version even more so, he's kind of ugly and not very appealing to my feminine side at all. He's... I don't even want to begin describing it. Ladies, if this is your idea of a perfect guy, then I in no way want to compete with that.

That said, LOVE the choices for the poll.

Me and my sister one bought the book (it only cost a couple of quid anyway) and we also bought a red pen. We decided to read the book and write all over it (like all the bits that were badly written and all the things about the plotline that sucked).

It's torture, honestly.

I like consistant imagery, but I'm sick to death of hearing 5 times in a row that Forks was green; I am sick to death of hearing that her car"came to life"; I am tired of hearing about how pale and skinny she is (apparently, she has tranlucent skin as well- she should see a doctor about that).

And Edward is so boring and controlling and undermines his girlfriend's intelligence (she is stupid, don't get me wrong, but you just don't belittle your girlfriend like that). And guess what? She doesn't even TRY to defend herself because she's too "in love" with him.

And the Cullens are Mary Sue's just like Bella and I feel sorry for her dad (Officer Swan- come one- seriously, Meyer!).

There's just too much wrong with this book, it hurts my brain!

GRRR! The book is so boring and everyone in my school likes it! I hope that when I leave school, people won't annoy me about not liking Twilight!

My friend who sits next to me in Spanish is in love with the books and she is literally obsessed with the characters and the themes (which are so basic and boring).

I don't read a lot, but I once read an Anne Rice book (I think it was "The Vampire Lestat") and while I was a little freaked out by the obvious incest and sexual intimacy of the characters, THEY WERE, AT LEAST, REAL VAMPIRES THAT DIDN'T SPARKLE!! !!

I don't think she'd read it (because the main characters would have to be "good guys"). Urgghh.....

My seven year old cousin can write better than Stephenie Meyer.....

Never read the books or seen the film...but given everything that I've heard about them, I dunno if I want to. I might give the film a look to see if it's as bad as people say it is. I tend to watch really bad teen flicks for kicks.

But honestly, I HATE vampire fiction, period. I hate shows like Buffy and Angel. There just hasn't been anything really original done with the vampire genre as all I've seen from it are bad shallow erotic romances that often resemble an abusive relationship.

Stephen King said something like this: "JK Rowling is a terrific writer, but Stephanie Meyer can't write anything worth giving a care."

As for this Twilight craze, WTF? It's just a book. :x
There is nothing erotic or sexual about the relationship between Bella and Edward.
The Twilight series is one big bore.
Never read the books, but heard the movie was just as bad as the book.

PS: I think I have the hots for Stephanie Meyer!

Edward Cullen played by Robert Pattinson is hot. I would give it to him most definitely.
