You mentioned that one of you interest is Cryptozoology. That word did not immediately register so I looked it up.

Cryptozoology is a pseudoscience and subculture that searches for and studies unknown, legendary, or extinct animals whose present existence is disputed or unsubstantiated, particularly those popular in folklore, such as Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Yeti, the chupacabra, the Jersey Devil, or the Mokelembembe.

That is an interesting subject. I think that some species that have long died off from the planet might not completely have died off. There may be a small pocket or two where a few might yet survive. I live in the deep woods and sometimes I run into birds or animals that are a little bit off the beaten track.
