I just registered and thought I'd say hi to everyone. I was diagnosed a few years ago in my late 30s. Getting a diagnosis improved my life in many ways. I wasn't shy about letting people know that I'm autistic, after getting my diagnosis (I'm not sure why but it didn't bother me). No one has attacked me online for making this information about myself public, which is reassuring. I've just noticed that people have really distanced themselves from me, since doing this. It feels like I've been put into isolation and it's not my choice. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway, just looking to possibly find some new friends. I hope you're all doing well.

I looked a little deeper. You listed yourself as a Piano Technician.
You are interested in music composition, guitar, animation, the music of Bach, photography.

I wasn't familiar with Piano Technician, so I looked it up.



That sounds interesting.

Most people do not know much about our condition. They are probably thinking, is it contagious, can I catch it from him. So they keep their distance.
