Accepting myself more, more self-respect and patience, understanding as to how my brain and nervous system work and I've mostly stopped berating myself for 'not being good enough'. (I.E. unlike my little friends lol.)
I live with four cats and all of them have similar mental, emotional, physical issues as I. Fascinating.

And I agree with accepting how your brain works. I believe there are some advantages to how my
Autism Spectrum Disorder, Level 1 (Mild) brain works. It has done some things very well. It is just "different", not "defective".

And you have offered support to the assertion that your brain is working well. It is like cats! They are superior beings, and they know it.

You have four cats and each has mental, emotional, physical issues. That is interesting. I was given a cat a few months ago. It is an older cat. Probably at least 6 years old. I never did name the cat because he is a Fraidy cat. He is like a young baby crying for its mother.



I put his food in a bowl and birds will fly right next to him and eat it right before his eyes. I think he is even afraid of mice. He is a strange cat.
