I discovered this webpage by accident searching for something else. I wish I would have discovered it a long time ago. I'll be sure to be more active and write and share – I'm usually very quiet and keep to myself. I love everything to do with music and physical media (vhs, dvds, cassette tapes, vinyl records, etc.). I built my own PC a couple of years ago for the first time, sometimes I play games on there. Very imaginative and nerdy. I hope you are all doing well in the new year! Glad to be here!!

Interesting. You like music. Imagine a recording studio with many musicians and singers recording a performance. Now close you eyes. You can hear each sound from every point in the room, even the threads squealing as they glide down the string instruments. There is nothing like it.

Well many years ago, I discovered a secret, a very interesting secret. But I discovered it too late. As you get old, you tend to lose some of your hearing. You lose the ability to hear a perfect song.

Back in the day, there were some very special records. They were called Direct to Disc Recordings, or Original Master Recordings.

Even though you probably cannot find any today because even though you can buy records, direct to disc are probably a lost art form.
