hi everyone. or everytwo. everythree.

well anyways, hello, i am new. i did not know of a form like this until about 30 minutes ago.
i was diagnosed with asd in april of 2024 at the age of 14. i also have ocd and a few other disorders but, yeah.

i don't know wrongplanet etiquette so i apologize if this post is offensive in any way ?

my interests are my little pony, kmfdm (a newer interest, i don't associate with the fanbase if you're thinking i'm something bad, i adore the band though 8O ), the path (its a really nice game, i've liked it for a few years but it's a big interest for me right now). i have a few minor interests but those interests have currently consumed my mind. i enjoy discussions of any music. i like pink. i like colors in general, actually. i think that's all i have to say. goodbye

Welcome!

No, nothing in your post that could be considered offensive by anyone, I'd say.

Ahoy-hoy.

I remember KMFDM from when I was in high school. Do you have a favourite album by them?

hope i'm using this reply feature right, i am not used to the interface of most forum websites

my favorite album is definitely tohuvabohu!! ! i really love lucia cifarelli and she has lead vocals on a lot of tohuvabohu. i think that's a common sentiment with fans my age, i have noticed that fans from the 90s or 00s dislike the style of post-lucia music. i can kind of see that because a lot of kmfdm's music after lucia joined sounds kind of mainstream.

saw a commenter call lucia's music "bubblegum pop"

I'm mostly familiar with Xtort, Angst, Symbols and Adios. I'll give that one a listen. I don't listen to much industrial anymore, grindcore and powerviolence has pretty much dominated my musical tastes since high school.

vinylscratch, Welcome to Wrong Planet.

Lucia Cifarelli, I am not really familiar with her

But I do know about early records. They use to manufacture a type of record that was very unique. It was called direct-to-disc recordings. This was a very unique record. They produced very few of them at the time, but they were so precise. It was like being in a room where all the artist surrounded you. It was almost like being in the middle of a recording studio and hearing the artist perform.

This was developed about 50 years ago and was very unique. Apparently this technology still exist today.

Direct-to-Disc

Hi Aosull05

I will try. You are depressed. That means something is wrong. If you fix what is wrong, your life will get better.

So what is wrong and how do I fix it??????

Humans are a very complex construct. We are many times more complex then what most people think. That is because we have multiple brains. Some exist on the left side of our skull and others on the right side. They try and work together.

I am 76 years old and I learned early to control my stress. So perhaps you might copy what I do and perhaps you may find some relief.

There are two steps to overcoming stress. These are sleep and exercise.

Sleep is very important but you must create a perfect sleep environment. About 50 years ago I purchased a waterbed and for the past 50 years, it provides me with the best sleep. There are many phases of the sleep cycle. REM and deep NREM sleep are critical. During the night your body passes from one cycle to another to another to another, constantly on the move. Some of the modern watches can tell you how much sleep you are getting each night. But the key is to get good sleep, good deep sleep.

Exercise is the other important requirement. You need around a hour per day of strenuous exercise. Even though I am 76 years old, I can swim a mile. Normally I just walk up and down my steep hill each day. This is very easy for me because all I have to do is just walk out my door and walk up and down my hill.

So if you are feeling stress, try these two steps and see if you can experience results and find relief.
