Why are you here? Was looking for a forum for AS people.

When were you diagnosed?(skip if you don't have a disorder): Diagnosed with ADHD last year, no official diagnosis for Autism but strongly suspect I have it given high scores on assessments.

Favorite subjects: History (Older History mostly, I like seeing the similarities between older cultures), Tech (I do tech professionally).

Year/Grade: N/A

Favorite music: Blues-Rock mostly (Black Keys, SRV, Hendrix), Metal as well (Iron Maiden, Metallica, etc).

Books: Used to read a lot of Stephen King for fiction, mostly read non-fiction these days.

TV shows/Movies: Been watching the Bear lately, really enjoying it.

Do you like sports? I like watching them more than I used to, growing up all the athletic kids tended to be bullies so was turned off on them, but lately enjoy analyzing them and using them as a connection point with family. Into baseball the most at the moment. Love the statistically/strategy aspect of it.

Family: I'm married, hopefully kids soon..

Clothing: Couldn't care less about clothing, I like to wear two different socks as a fashion statement but the wife doesn't like it much.

Plans for the future? Would like to put out some Blues albums, been learning FL Studio. Would like to write a book at some point in the future. Also want to grow my consulting business, though if my creative pursuits take off might do that less.

Any comments? I was never diagnosed as a child, grew up in the Midwest in the 90's, public schools that never bothered to stop bullies. Always felt different. Ended up going to therapy for anxiety issues with a ND therapist and they recommended I take some online assessments. Has been life changing to have a new perspective, understanding why I felt behind socially and why I struggle with executive functioning. Very useful to have strategies.
